The Melin Court Wind Farm is located approximately 2km south east of Melincourt, adjacent to the operational Pen y Cymoedd Wind Farm, and immediately north of the operational Ffynnon Oer Wind Farm. Melin Court will have 5 turbines with a total generating capacity of 24MW. Many of you will have been involved in the consultation stages of this project and will be aware that planning permission was originally granted for turbines with a maximum tip height of 145m. Muirhall Energy will soon be seeking planning consent for a modest increase to 149.9m from Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.
