Managing Director

Sarah leads the Muirhall Energy team and is responsible for devising, implementing and managing strategy, development and operations of Muirhall Energy in the UK.

Away from Muirhall Energy, Sarah enjoys spending time with her young family and being active in her local community as a Trustee and Director of West Calder and Harburn Community Development Trust.

Scott Matheson

Finance Director

Scott leads and manages the finance function, responsible for all financial aspects of the Company and Platform, including developing the finance strategy, devex budgeting & project financing arrangements.

Amanda Swan

Director of Development

Amanda is responsible for progressing sites through from initial selection to planning consent.

Amanda is a keen volunteer with Scout Association, volunteering at local and national levels. Outside the office she enjoys spending her weekends exploring Scotland with her family and two dogs.

Joining the team in September 2025, Kirstanne leads on Muirhall Energy’s corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, policy and public affairs activities across our portfolio.

Sean MacDougall

Head of Commercial

Sean MacDougall and his team are responsible for route to market delivery, financial modelling and mergers and acquisitions covering the full life cycle of Muirhall Energy’s assets.

John McGeehan

Acting Head of Delivery

John joined Muirhall Energy in June 2025, bringing over 20 years of experience in the delivery of major projects within the grid and renewables industry. John's team leads the successful delivery of Muirhall Energy’s projects through construction to operation. Outside of work John is a keen runner and enjoys spending time with family as a dad of three active kids and owner of a hyper Cockapoo.
