Siobhan Jarvie, Communities Lead at Muirhall Energy, said:
“The response we have received to the Priestgill Wind Farm Initial Investment Fund has been fantastic. We are really pleased to have the opportunity to support so many local projects.
“This funding is designed to offer essential financial assistance to local groups prior to our operational community benefit fund launching, which is expected to take place in early 2027 once construction is complete and the wind farm is generating. The projects that we have supported in this funding round all provide a lifeline to people living in the area – directly improving shared community facilities for the benefit of local people.
“As a business that is proud to have strong roots in South Lanarkshire, I hope that our ongoing funding support will help to sustain the initiatives that matter most to our host communities near the Priestgill Wind Farm site.”
