Muirhall Energy is known for its community focused, ‘people-first’ approach, and is committed to ensuring that communities and local businesses close to its developments can realise the opportunities that wind energy projects can bring.
The supply chain for onshore renewables is vast and varied.
From cleaning and catering to civil engineering contractors and hauliers - we need companies of all sizes and backgrounds to be supporting the development, delivery and operation of our projects.
These projects will deliver a substantial economic contribution that reaches far beyond the renewables industry itself, and a core element of this impact is our supply chain. By engaging local suppliers we hope that this will enable them to support jobs and business activity through their own supply chains - supporting wider economic activity across the country.
For the construction element of our sites, we procure directly with a Main Infrastructure contractor who will then sub-contract many of the skills, equipment and services they require.
We collect information throughout the development process about the skills and services available locally, and this is provided directly to our main contractor when they are appointed. We are also committed to holding supply chain open days, inviting those companies we are already aware of, alongside the wider local supply chain to attend, learn more about tendering timescales and opportunities available to them on the site.
While the construction phase is a key supply chain opportunity, there are other roles and services required throughout the operational lifetime of our sites and we are interested in hearing from local companies who could provide services that would support the ongoing maintenance of the sites, their buildings and other infrastructure.
By registering in our supplier register, you can ensure that your interest in working on our projects will be highlighted to the appropriate contacts within Muirhall Energy and to our main contractors.
