North Logiealmond
The proposed development lies approximately 18km north-west of Perth within the land of Scone Estates, comprising 13 turbines with a mixture of 180m and 200m maximum tip heights.
The project is in the development stage, with the submission of the Section 36 Consent to the Energy Consents Unit expected in early 2026.
Muirhall Energy seeks to marry its developments with real environmental enhancement through biodiversity net gain. We are committed to implementing a robust biodiversity enhancement plan as part of the development.
We are working closely with Scone Estates to maximise community benefit for the nearest neighbours to this development. This exciting new venture is a continuation of Scone Estates undertaking a holistic approach to its estate management, with tackling the climate emergency and addressing nature crisis as key elements.

Community Involvement
Muirhall Energy is committed to the principles of community wealth building and a just transition to a net-zero economy and we engage with communities from the earliest stages of a project.
The North Logiealmond project presents an opportunity to investigate how investment can be shared in an innovative and equitable way with communities who would not typically benefit from wind farm development, including deprived urban areas.
Muirhall will continue to work closely with the Host Communities to ensure the effective implementation of any community investment package
Muirhall Energy is keen to explore the concept of widening the area of benefit of renewable energy developments whilst ensuring our host and neighbouring communities are supported. A just transition is one where all communities benefit from our net zero future.
Andrew Marshall, Senior Project Manager
Public Engagement & Project Documents
Muirhall Energy held two rounds of public engagement events in November 2024 and May 2025 and will host a third round in early 2026, prior to the Section 36 Submission so that communities can hear about the final plans and ask questions prior to the submission.
