Muirhall Energy Sponsor the 2025 Dunvegan Agricultural Show

We were proud to sponsor the 2025 Dunvegan Agricultural Show which took place on Saturday 26th July at Dunvegan in NW Skye. As this community is a near neighbour to our Glen Ullinish II Wind Farm proposal we were delighted to be invited to attend and host a stand, allowing us to engage with the local community, share information and answer any questions that they had.

It was a great opportunity for us to hear first-hand what the local residents and agricultural community think about our proposals, which involves harnessing the power of the natural resources of Skye to generate clean power in harmony with crofting activities on the land.

We were pleased to have plenty of visitors to our stand and we had lots of great conversations with both positive feedback and opportunities to provide more information when concerns were expressed.

Our Glen Ullinish II project team really enjoyed experiencing the show for ourselves, visiting the other stands, adding manpower to the Tug O War and even meeting local celebrity Danny MacAskill - the mountain bike and street trials rider from Dunvegan - who put on an impressive stunt show.
